Preschool class...

Dear parents,

We had a nice week! Please mark your calendar for the annual art auction on May 12th.

All About this week,

The preschoolers had a great time during large group. We read books, took turns doing the attendance and helped each other solve the question of the day. We are so happy that we didn’t have many absences this week!

We enjoyed our Math class; we continued to explore with our number flag activity. We loved finding different number flags and matched the numbers with the help of the beads.

For Science class we explored with oil and water! We gave our prediction on

how the water and oil will be like when we mix it up. Some said , “ its going to be

yellow” others said, “ I don’t know what it will be like when we mix it?” When we finally mixed the oil with water we were all really surprised ,because it wasn’t mixing.

One friend said, “ Maybe they don’t like each other”. After trying various ways to mix and stir the two, we shared

our observations. We were really excited

to see the results.

Reminders:

As you may have noticed the weather here fluctuates a lot during the day between hot and cold, we ask that you send your child with extra layers so that they can take off and put on accordingly!

Thursday is our art day, please make sure your child wear their ‘Art clothes’ because we use paints and our activities get messy!

Friday is our Library day!! Don’t forget to send library folders so your child can choose a new book.
