Ethiopia an incredible variety of landscapes, a mixture of cultures and history that tracks back to when our kind first raised their two legs!

Ethiopia is a country full of vibrant and colorful festivals! We celebrated two holidays in school this month alone! New Year and Meskel. Oh, trust me there is more to come our way!

Our Pre-k friends joined us on Wednesday to learn more about Meskel. They were fascinated by the strength of Empress Helena (mostly known as Elina). They also said that the fairies were also helping her all along!

Wednesday was a busy day for the students and the staff. From Meskel card decorations, coffee ceremony, lemonade stand, and bonfire,everyone had a great time!
