Blog For Early Pre School ,Preschool And Early Pre -K

Greeting parents,

Although we have been having a short week, we had a wonderful time exploring different learning areas and playing with friends.

We would love to say welcome to our new friends’ Joy and Millie who joined our class.

Our large group went well this week!!

We discussed and work on: -books and songs, working with numbers, revising zoo phonics and discussing about internal body parts were our focus.

Monday

Unfortunately, on Monday we were small in ratio. So, we have been exploring and enjoying different learning areas in our school compound and class as well.

Tuesday (literacy)

Our zoo-phonics is the focus in our literacy class. Our kids are getting excited to explore and know more about zoo-phonics. Thus, we have been working on tracing along the letters by using play dough. Tracing is an activity that strengthens handwriting by helping children recognize the shape a letter takes while also practicing appropriate size of the letter and correct formation of the letters.

Wednesday (science, internal body parts)

Children are curious to know the answer to everything. While growing up, kids do have questions about their own bodies as well. When our kids start recognizing themselves, they are very curious about their bodies. Therefore, we were having such an interesting discussion that we find it very important to teach and let them explore about human body parts by showing pictures and 2d human body parts . It introduces them new words that they can add to their vocabulary and understand the function of body parts.

Math (measuring height)

Measurement activities relate to the ability to recognize and define the size or amount of something. These are typically established using non-standard units of measure, such using as blocks, tissue box, and counters to measure height. We also use our hands for measuring length and draw lines on a chart paper and measure our height. We find this concept allow our kids to make real world connections in math.

Work time

Exploring with mud

Mud play is not only a way to make precious childhood memories, it’s also a great way for children to learn, relax, and let out their creativity. Our kids love and enjoy exploring with mud.

Dance

Dance is an excellent way for our kids to develop many different physical skills. These include balance, strength and flexibility. Dance also teaches children how to exercise safely and how to look after their bodies. We are practicing different dance move with our teachers and friend
