Little Hands, Big Ideas
Dear parents,
We hope everyone is doing well! Here in the Early Preschool class, our week was full of fun, excitement, and learning as we explored the theme of family through different activities. Our children enjoyed looking at their family pictures, talking about their mommies and daddies, and sharing who is part of their families. They also enjoyed family role play in our dramatic play area, pretending to be mommies and daddies, cooking, and cleaning before sitting together in a circle and eating like a family.
Afterwards, we went outside to sort our family pictures, where our children carefully looked at the pictures, recognized familiar faces, and shared them with their friends. Jember was especially happy to show Noab his family picture, creating a lovely moment of sharing and connection. Our children also created their own family portraits, showing excitement as they drew their mommies and daddies and shared their ideas with us. Sumeya was especially engaged, taking time to notice the details in her family picture and expressing her excitement through drawing. These activities helped our children develop their communication and language, early math, observation, sorting, creativity, and fine motor skills while building social connections and celebrating the special people in their families.
