Dear Parents,

As we come to the end of this wonderful school year, we would like to take a moment to thank you for being part of our journey. It has been a pleasure having your children in our classroom, and we have enjoyed watching them learn, grow, and develop throughout the year. We are so grateful for your support, kindness, and partnership. Your encouragement has helped make this year a successful and memorable one for everyone.

Thank you for trusting us to be a part of your child’s learning journey. We have shared many special moments together, and we will cherish the memories we have made.

Wonder Week

We had a wonderful and exciting week celebrating our Wonder Week! The children were very happy to take part in all the special themed days. We celebrated Under the Water/Solar System Day, Pajama Day, Mismatch Day, and Little Einsteins Colors Day. The children enthusiastically followed each theme and came dressed in their special outfits. They enjoyed sharing their clothes with their friends and teachers, taking photos, and participating in fun activities throughout the week. It was wonderful to see their excitement, creativity, and school spirit. We made many happy memories together and had lots of fun celebrating as a class.

Gymnastics

During our most recent gymnastics activity, we set up an obstacle course outside. We attached yarn between chairs, and the children crawled carefully underneath it. They then jumped into the hula hoops and completed the course with enthusiasm. The children listened well to instructions, took turns patiently, and waited for their friends to finish before having their turn. They showed great balance, coordination, and self-control throughout the activity. Everyone did a wonderful job and had lots of fun participating.

Literacy and Language

During our Literacy and Language activity, the children made colorful bracelets using dyed macaroni and pipe cleaners. They carefully threaded the macaroni onto the pipe cleaners one piece at a time to create their own unique bracelets. This activity encouraged the children to practice color recognition, follow directions, and develop their fine motor skills. They enjoyed talking about the different colors they chose and were proud to show their finished bracelets to their friends and teachers.

Art

During our art session, the children created special postcards for their friends as a keepsake for the last day of school. They carefully chose their favorite colored pens and began decorating their postcards with creativity and enthusiasm. The children enjoyed expressing themselves through their artwork and took pride in making something special to share with their friends. This activity encouraged creativity, fine motor development, and kindness as they prepared thoughtful  for one another.

Science

During our science session, the children explored a variety of fruits, including watermelon, banana, lemon, and apple. They observed the different colors, shapes, textures, and smells of the fruits before we cut them into pieces. The children had the opportunity to taste each fruit and talk about their favorites. They enjoyed comparing the different flavors, such as sweet and sour, and were excited to try something new. This hands-on activity encouraged exploration, observation, and healthy eating habits. Everyone had a wonderful time tasting and learning about different fruits together.

And just like that, our Infant and Toddlers chapter comes to an end. Thank you for a year filled with learning, laughter, friendship and unforgettable memories.
