Preschool Weekly Highlights
Dear parents,
We hope you are all doing well. We are excited to share our preschoolers’ wonderful learning experiences from the past three days. Enjoy reading our weekly highlights!
During our morning large group, we sang our Good Morning Song and shared ideas about our morning routines and families. The children talked about their family members, favorite foods, and activities they enjoy doing with their families. We also sang our My Family song, discussed the weather and days of the week, and took attendance.
During our math session, we explored graphing by counting family members in our family pictures and connecting our pictures to the corresponding numbers on the graph. With a little practice and guidance, the children understood the activity and participated enthusiastically, developing their counting and number recognition skills. Library time was enjoyable as usual, with this week focused on the book A Wonderful Thing It Will Be. The children listened attentively and shared their thoughts about the story.
In our gymnastics session, they warmed up, stretched, and enjoyed an exciting obstacle course that included balancing beams, jumping through hula hoops, running, and sliding. They showed wonderful energy, confidence, and enthusiasm throughout the activities.
Finally, during journal time, the children chose their favorite crayons, drew their families or pictures from their imagination, and proudly shared their drawings with their teachers and friends. It was wonderful to see them expressing their ideas, developing their skills, and learning together. We are proud of their growing confidence, independence, and curiosity!
