Week 41: Kindergarten’s Final Hurrah!

Dear Family,

Oh wow! We can’t believe a whole year has gone by. A year of getting to know you, writing these blogs, and most importantly nurturing these amazing 11 kinders. We truly hope you have enjoyed this journey as much as we have and that you are feeling proud of how far your little ones have come. To the families whose children have completed our Kindergarten program, we wish you all the very best on your next adventure. Keep making us proud! And to the families who have another year with us, we can’t wait to welcome you back in August and continue the journey together. Since this was such a special week, let’s take you through each of our themed days!

Monday (Under the Water / Solar System Day)

We kicked off the week with two exciting adventures! In the morning, our children explored an ocean sensory bin filled with blue water and hidden sight words. Using DIY magnetic fishing rods, they “fished” for words and practiced reading them aloud. It was a fun way to combine literacy with sensory play.

In the afternoon, we traveled from the ocean to outer space. Working in groups, our children created their own solar systems on large chart papers, drawing and coloring planets while sharing ideas with their friends.

Tuesday (Pajama Day)

Pajama Day brought lots of cozy fun. We turned part of our classroom into a reading tent where our children enjoyed reading books in a special little hideaway. Later in the day, they became authors and illustrators by creating their own comic books. They drew pictures, added words and descriptions, and proudly took their books home to share with their families.

Wednesday (Mismatch / Inside Out Day)

Our children definitely understood the assignment! The classroom was filled with funny, creative and colorful outfits as everyone arrived ready for Mismatch and Inside Out Day. To celebrate, our children painted white socks using spray bottles and play syringes to create their own colorful mismatched designs. Others worked on self portraits, carefully drawing themselves wearing their special outfits. It was a day full of creativity, laughter and self expression.

Thursday (Little Einsteins School Color Day)

Dressed in white, blue and red, our children proudly represented Little Einsteins for our final full day of the school year. To create a lasting memory, we made “Last Day of School” frame cards. Each child added colorful thumbprints around their classmates’ frames, then turned them into little people by adding arms, legs and names. It became a beautiful keepsake filled with friendship and memories. In the afternoon, we completed our word wall together. Looking at all the words our children can now recognize and read was such a proud moment and a wonderful reminder of how much they have grown throughout the year.

Friday (Last Day of School / Graduation Day)

Friday was filled with celebration, excitement and so much pride. Looking at our children, it was impossible not to think about how much they have learned, grown and achieved this year. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them. To all our families, thank you for the love, trust and support you have shown throughout the year. It has been a privilege to be part of your child’s Kindergarten journey. Please enjoy the special photos from today and have a wonderful summer break. And for those joining us for Summer Camp, we’ll see you on Monday!

And just like that, our Kindergarten chapter comes to an end. Thank you for a year filled with learning, laughter, friendship and unforgettable memories. Once a Kinder, always a Kinder!
