Early Preschool this week,
It was a fantastic week for our group. The kids were excited to see our new ‘Ethiopia’ center. This center is about Ethiopian culture and traditions.
This week our main focus was Animals and Weather. The kids are interested to read books about the animals, the sounds they make and the food they eat. We were also concerned about the weather and why it has been changing so much. Quotes we heard about this matter include,
“The wind is taking the could away”
“Its sunny and hot, I want to take my jacket away.”
Our small group activities were,
Math – We had great time creating patterns using the blocks. We used two colors of blocks to build towers.
Literacy – The kids had the most fun stamping canvas using paint! They had a good time discussing about the letters and the shapes they made.
Science – We went outside and talked about our garden and how we can take good care of it. We also discussed about what plants need to grow big and beautiful.
