Early pre school
Dear parents
It was another great week at early preschool class. We are so excited about our art auction on 12thMay.
Large group
Our large groups this week, was mostly about singing songs and long discussion about ourselves. Our mornings usually started with discussions about how our day started, what we had for breakfast, plays we had at drop off time and the new friends we make around the school. We also had fun singing the ‘Hello song’ and ‘Banana song’.
Small group
Math – we had fun counting the bears and dinosaurs using thongs. We exercised our fine motor and also our counting skills.
Literacy – we used play dough and 3D letters to practice to stamp and see what shapes they make. We also talked about the sounds they make.
Science - on our science activity we checked on our beads we planted and see if they were ready to be planted in the garden. The seeds did sprout some roots but not leaves so we decided to wait and see for some time.
Light box – we explored with sand in the sandbox. We make tried to make shapes of numbers and letters.

Reminders
On Monday please make sure your child wears old clothes and shoes for art. It could get messy.
Please don’t forger to return and check out new books because its library day.
