Blog for Early preschool ,Preschool And Early pre -K

Dear respected parents,

One more month left to finish this academic year, during this short time all of us will be engaged in preparing reports and portfolio for our kids. And for our amazing art auction too!!

What we have been through this week?

Our large group is going as well.

We discussed and work on: -books and songs, working with numbers, revising zoo phonics and discussing about their ideas that they have in their mind were our focus.

Cooperative game

(Preschool and Early pre-K)

Straw activities allow children to explore their creativity while developing their fine motor skills. They are also terrific for sorting, counting, and increasing hand-eye coordination. Based on this we certain a straw activities to keep our kids engaged and learn. We use a straw and cup to play the game thus, we put the cup on the table and ask them to be in pair then they were competing to blow the cup and drop it fast. Others of our friends were cheering up!! We all find the game entertaining and great way to work on our breathing.

(For Early Preschool)

Playing with hoops offers many benefits for children. It helps them develop gross motor skills, balance, body awareness, muscular coordination, and rhythm. Apart from its physical benefits, hooping is great fun for children and their teachers. Besides we have been playing by transferring balls from the hula hoop to the other on the ground by standing on one foot. We find it challenging because we all lose our balance and fall but we all enjoyed, maintained, and improved our balance too!

Literacy: in this session we started revision of our zoo phonics friends we have learnt before. By showing flash cards and telling the story behind. We have observed that our kids are more likely practice to write their names beginning letters thus, we let them to write the letter by giving them a paper and a pencil.

"This is letter H for my mum and V for my name"

"G is for my name and this is me”

"B is for my banana”

They were enjoying the way they did the activity, and they all were engaged.

Math exploring and learning about comparing objects helps our kids to understand how to compare two or more objects. And to determine what objects they can pick easily and what objects they cannot. It helps kids to work on their thinking and problem-solving skills. It will later help kids to understand the concept of volume, mass, and measurement. Besides this we were having a good time exploring about the concept comparing. We let our kids to pick objects from the classroom. They come up with lots of books, counting jar, tissue box, pencil, and bowling. Then try to differentiate which is heavy and light to pick. We have observed that they all were engaged and explored with the activity.

Science: we continue to explore about internal body with our Preschool and early pre-K team. Our kids find this topic interesting way to talk and discuss more about the internal body.

"Brain helps to think."

"We don’t open our body because our internal body parts will feel cold and get angry"

"Heart share blood"

"Our tummy is big than Heart.”

After having more discussion, we were fixing and exploring the internal parts by using the 3d human body.

Introducing animals and their sound exploration went with our early preschool team. All our kids were more familiar about the animals and the sounds that they make, so we were exploring by differentiating them with farm animals and pet animals by reading books and singing songs.

"I have seen a cow saying moo"

"My cat roars"

“My dog barks all the time"
