Pre-School and Early Pre-K

Dear parents

How was your week? Hope you all had a fruitful and fun week as we did! We are so excited about our small swimming pool that is in the newly finished Ocean center.

Christmas is all we are talking about! The presents they want to get from Santa and the places they are going and so on. We will be welcoming our new staff. she will be joining us starting from next week.

Meet Ossaye

My name is Osaye Girma. I have a Bsc. Degree in Management Information System. I have a teaching experience in Swedish Community School, Flipper International School And Gibson School Systems. I am looking forward in having more fun in Little Einsteins.

What we have done in the large group

We have been doing a lot of tasks in our large, the zoo phonics is our daily task in our board message, and we did different questions about math and our attendance too.

Our small group this week

Obstacle course Monday; some of our kids love running around, do stunts and flip! And from that, we come up with an obstacle course where they jump on the mat then go through the cave tent and then go through the cave that we have created with our mat. They were to engage in the activity; they asked if we can do it again. So we are planning to add more obstacles and do it again.

Finding the number; our Tuesday math was all about finding the

number on the mattress. We put numbers from 1-10(for pre-schoolers) and from 1-12 (for early pre-k) in the mattress and let them step on the number that we asked them to step on. They got all the number right except the two-digit numbers, which we will on the next, term more.

Weather Wednesday; we continued our talk about the weather and the seasons. We add pictures about what kind of cloth we wear during those seasons and match them on the weather we put on the board (which is sunny, cloudy, rainy and snowy). They all did very well.

Tracing Thursday; since we have been doing a lot of fine motor skill, we have decided to see how they can hold their pencil and it turned out to be progressive than the last time we did it.

Our specials

Music and gymnastic; we have had a lot of fun in our music and gymnastics. They are becoming more familiar with the gymnastic words like, ‘’l’’ sits, squat and many more and also yoga sit!

Having some relaxing time after hard work!

Art; we are very close to finishing our project about the rainbow. We are done with the cloud last week and this week we have been painting the cotton yellow and red for our rainbow. We will be continuing with more different colors.

We would like to give a big appreciation to those of you who particepated in our bookstore grand opening!
