Our Week In kindergarten!!

Dear parents

We had a wonderful week, we hope this blog find you well, please immerse yourself to look a glance of what we had been doing this week, hope you enjoy reading the Blog.

Large group

This week our large group was fun and exciting as it always has been, we started by singing the “Good morning song”. And this week we have started doing a new circle time routine which the kids enjoyed and had fun participating with full of excitement, and sharing our days allowed us to connect with one another on a deeper level.

Today we had a birthday for our Dear Andre which was amazing and fun and we wish you a very happy Birthday once more.

Literacy

This week our literacy activity was sentence reading and CVC words. Our activity engaged the students in sentence reading and CVC words in different types of ways and perspectives to master our reading skills. This week for the sentence reading we used roll and read method which was fun and engaging and the kids were rolling the dice and reading whatever number of the dice gave them to read. It might be 2,4 or 6 sentences but they were happy to read the sentences.  It was an engaging learning session, for the CVC words we engage by doing the word using the letters we have in our classroom which helped us to do the activity by being more engaged.

"I rolled my dice to 4 sentence ya" Haon

"Can is my CVC word" Vavra

Football

This week our football session was simply fun and amazing. All the kids played with passion and energy; the game ended 10 - 4 which was such a sight full game to watch.

Math

For our math session this week we did addition and also revised what we did for the past weeks and did some skipping numbers, which made the kids do more in a focused manner and it also made them recall what they have been doing in the past weeks.

Science

Our science activity was the highlight of the whole week that took almost all our snack time! We did Air pressure experiment using a water bottle, straw, and balloon to see what air pressure can do and we did our own little water pump, which made all the kids engaged and excited to try out the experiment.

Parents if you want to try the science activity of the air pressure experiment you can use the following ingredients and we are sure your child help out the process (Water, food color, straw, water bottle and balloon)
