Infant, Toddlers and Transitional Toddlers

Dear Parents,

It was another full of fun and busy week at Little Einsteins! We enjoyed playing together with beautiful weather and celebrated friends birthday too. School will be closed from Nov 5th-9th for fall break and Teacher training. Here is a brief description of how our week went by:

Large group:

We start off our morning by doing our new attendance list, which is ‘Who is here and who is not here’, it help the children to recognize theirs and theirs friends and teacher pictures. Our circle time started with a ‘Hello’ song. Our theme for this month is called ‘All about me’.

Song: ‘Head shoulder knees and Toes ’

Finger paly: ‘1, 2 I have 2 eyes so do you’

Our book was ‘Where is baby’s belly button?’.

Songs, books and finger plays will change every week.

Small group

This week we had Music, Art, and Baby bath, Mirror fun and Body puzzle for small group exploration.

For Baby Bath our focus was ‘Personal care and healthy behavior’ e explored with different dolls and talked about their body parts, then we prepared some Soap, water, tub, towel and art smack so we could give bath to our dollies. We worked on how to be gentle and how to take care of babies. The children were very excited to give them a bath and talk about their body parts they said “Leg”, “Eye”, “Head”, “Fingers”, “Lips” and “Ears”.

During our Library time, our focuses language development. We tried to see if they children can hold a book correctly and look at a book front to back, turn on the page one by one and point to what animals they see on a book.
