Pre School and Early Pre-K

Dear Parents,

Another fun week passed in our class as we welcome our new friend Jane in Pre School! They were happy to have a snack sitting on our new table, no more eating on the mat!!

What we have done in

our large group

• We went through our school and classroom rules. As a positive reinforcement, we give them stickers when they followed the rules (which they all do).

• As next week plan, we will continue our Zoo-phonics in our large group.

What we did in our small group

Fine motor skill Monday: We repeated the same activity about “Making the Web” to help some of our friends that missed the activity. We focused on eye coordination and fine motor skill.

Color mixing Wednesday: We had a talk about “Primary colors” . We are going to do the activity again with shaving cream to see the color effect more.

Zoo-phonics Thursday: We joined with Kindergartens again to do our Zoo-phonics. Our kids remembered some of the sounds.

Monday- Cooperative game (foucs on sharing)

Tuesday- Math (number chart)

Wednesday- Science (color mixing with shving cream)

Thursday- Literacy ( zoo phonics hunting)

Friday- Library (fun with books)

Reminders

Wednesday is our Art day, please make sure your child wear their ‘Art clothes’ because we use paints and our activities get messy!

Friday is our Library day!! Don’t forget to send library folders so your child can choose a new book.

Please send your child with sunscreen and hat.
