Blog For Early Pre School and Pre School

Greeting parents!!

We had a fun -filled week!! We had a wonderful time exploring different learning areas and playing with friends.

What have we been up to this week?

Here are the areas on our small group.

● Cooperative game

● Science

● Literacy

● Art

● Maker space

On our cooperative game we had transferring water using sponge. The Children learn how water is absorbed by the sponge and then how squeezing the sponge releases the water. Our students were patient as they were soaking up all of the water from the bowl and transfer it to a bucket.

They were playing it as pair so they were running to fill up the bucket. This teaches them concentration and assists in the development of fine motor and cognitive skills. Our kids were more than excited to have this kind of game.

Science: this week in our science class we discussed and point out the types of seed that we have seen throughout the week. After that we plan to make a chart of seed that we need to plant. We were busy as bee by search out a place to plant our seed in our school.

Finally, we locate the place for our gardening activity thus we water the place to make it ready for our seed to get planted. So the coming week will be the time for gardening. We all are eager and ready for gardening.

Art: String painting or pulling string art is a great way to develop kids' fine motor skills, and strengthen grasp and manual control. Plus, it's fun!

Our art class is becoming more interesting. We start working our art project on a big canvas. It makes the whole class interesting and fun as we worked on it as a team! We use glue and different color string for our art work we soak the string on the glue and we start to make different shapes on the canvas. Here are some of our kid’s statements

“Look I make heart shape “

“I am making a big castle shape you see”

"I make a flower “

"This shape is a zig zag "

After we are done making the shapes we let the glue get dry. We plan to finalize our project on the coming art class.

Maker space: this class teaches our kids about recycling everyday items and giving them another purpose, instead of just throwing them away. It is also a great activity for using their imagination, concentration and problem solving skills. Thus,

As we plan to make a robot on our previous class we start up on making it real.

We begin upon our robot by cutting different shapes like square for the head, triangles for the ears, big rectangle for the body part and tinny rectangles for hands and leg thus circle to stick it on the body.

After that we stick all this shapes to make on our robot. We all were having the same shapes, but we make our robots some different and with unique way as we want. We all love our robot that we made. Here after we hang it in our maker space class to make it visible for our school friends to see over our robot. We didn’t leave the class by only hanging it rather we plan to make a big robot as a team.
