Greeting Dear Parents,
Hello dear parents, how was your week? ours was really nice! We would like to thank the parents who participated in the Family day! It was a very wonderful day!
Participating in such kind of school celebration is useful for the teachers to get feed back, for parents to know what their child does at school and for the children to feel that they are respected and taken in to account!
How our large group went
We had been talking about how our morning was and how to behave nicely with their friends and families, we read a book titled; “calf’s big surprise” and “The small seed”. We also sang different songs, “elephant have a wrinkle” has become our children ’s favorite song.They will stand and dance whenever they hear the song.
How our small group
Our small group was fun and exciting; for math (matching shape), science (Gardening), Art (mixing colors on canvas), Gymnastic.
Our Math activity were matching shapes. First we read a book about different shapes and we discussed about their sides, then we provided the materials that we prepared like; printed shapes, box,plate and magnets after we showed them which shapes go where, we put all the materials on the mat and we let them to match by themselves. Most of the children knew and identified the shapes. They match all of the shapes correctly. However some of our friends had difficulties.
Other fun and exciting activity were Gardening. After lots of messy science activities which were related to gardening it lead to planting seeds. The children choose their own seeds and planted it on our garden. They were very excited to dig the ground and water it.
Our art activity was mixing colors on canvas; we used different colors like yellow, green, blue and red. The children dropped the color on the canvas and covered the whole canvas with plastic, then they start to rub it all around the canvas. after which the colors started mixing. It was really amazing .Then we took out the plastic from the canvas, the result was really beautiful.

· Every Tuesdays, we have Art so please send your children with art appropriate
clothing.
· Every Wednesdays is our Library Day, so we will be sending a folder with a book your
child picked from our library, which will be returned after a week on library day.
