Dear parents,
We had a wonderful week! We would like to thank all parents who joined us for parent/teacher conferences, and we enjoyed our time together. Thank you all once again for parents who send us the memorable gifts and delicious food on the teachers’ appreciation day! It was exciting day! We're proud to be teachers!
Week in review
Since the last day of the school is approaching, we are trying to have fun and unforgettable memories with our lovely children! We celebrated backwards day by wearing our jacket t-shirt! The other fun day was Water fun. At the beginning of the water fun, we started washing the monkey barn and then all of a sudden the children began to splash water to each other. We enjoyed it well!
Large group
During our large group session, we read different story books, sing our favorite songs and danced well! Plus, we discussed about what the children want to do on the last day of the school. Here is what the children said.
“Having snack together”.
“Dancing together!”
“Drawing our favorite journal”.
“Making postcards for our teachers and friends”.
“Playing fun games”.
“Taking pictures”
We didn’t forget our Small group!
Revising what we have been exploring through out the year was what were doing in our small group time. We reviewed the zoo-phonics in our Literacy time , numbers in the math session and about community helpers during social studies time. We did our Journal on Thursday.
Schedule for the fun times!
June 12: Two Different Shoe Day (Let your child choose two different shoes and wear them for that day.)
June 13: School Theme T-shirt Day (White, Red, and Blue, these three colors are our school’s theme colors so help your child choose one and let them wear a color of their choose from the three.)
June 14: Pajamas Day (Our children can come to school wearing their pajamas.)
June 15: Book Day (Open for parents from 8:30am – 12pm! The whole morning schedule will be mainly focus on exploring with and reading books, different reading areas will be prepared in different corners of the school compound, please feel free to come when you can and read a book with your child and class in addition you can bring your child’s favorite books to share.)
June 16: School Closing Day (Open for parents beginning 10:30) The Last day of school will be bittersweet for all of us. We are still planning for this special day so stay tuned for more updates!
