Early Preschoolers

Dear Parents,

We are excited to present the events for the month of March! Our upcoming events are School beatification, family day and spring break. We plan to renovate and decorate the school compound and the classrooms and counting the days until you all come for family day so you call can do the final touches. On that note, we have made changes on our school calendar and moved the family day to April 2nd so we can be able to have more time to work on school beatification project plans! We can’t wait to have you all and have fun with us for our super family day!

This week we celebrated our friend Abigail’s birthday! Snack time was a little busy than usual as we celebrate her birthday with yummy cake!

School closed next week for spring break; See you all after the break!

Large group

All the children fully understand the class routines and expectations. Seeing the children leading their energy to these expectations and routine is a joy to experience!

Every morning we greet our friends with the good morning song! And we read a book called, Busy world!

Our Massage Board this week…

Zoo-Phonics; exploration, we focused on 4 letters (a, b, c, d) We have been talking about the sound they make, the zoo animals and what shape makes those letters like;

a- allie alligator makes a sound - “a”

b - bubba bear makes a sound - “b”

c - catina cat makes a sound - “c”

d - deedee deer make a sound - “d”

Calendar; we have been exploring the days of the week. Counting and remembering what’s yesterday and what’s coming tomorrow!

Small group;

This week has been full of exciting new explorations!

Music; For our music class everyone had fun participating in singing, stretching and dancing as we wiggled and grooved our way through a variety of musical beats and movements by letting them choose one by one. The songs they chose were ‘The wheels on the bus’, ‘Miss Polly had a dolly’, and ‘I like to move it ‘,’ Freeze and Ali Baba farm’. We are so happy to see how the children are really interested in the music, they were following the music direction and moving everywhere along with the song!

Science; Our science activity was making our own Volcanoes, for that we used Baking soda and Soft Drink. It was very exciting, funny, and interesting to explore with the activities!

Each child had one soft drink and one spoon baking soda then one by one we experimented what happens when we add the baking soda to the soft drink.

Every time when they put the baking soda, they were mind blown. They wanted to do it again and again especially seeing the different reaction of the bottles were so exciting for the children.

Math; we enjoyed working on number matching together. We had fun counting numbers first, and after that we wanted to challenge them with the big numbers that range from number one up to fifteen!

The children are really engaging with the numbers and had a good time recognizing and matching them., but still, some of the numbers are challenging them like Number 13, 14 and 15 and they are working on it.

In addition, as part of our School Beatification Project, we also decorated our gardening area by painting the bricks that surround our gardening area.
