Family Day Week In Kindergarten!!

Hello dear parents,

Time flies so fast that we are already going to celebrate our second family day together and for some of us our first family day, we are all prepared and waiting for all of you to have a fun time. And also today we had to say farewell to one of our dear friend Matteo, we will surely miss you a lot.

Large group

For our large group session, we started by singing the good morning song. And through our large group we have been reading a book and discussing when family day and football match day will be and have started putting a tally by counting down how many days we are left with. Participating in the circle time Calendar activity helped us increase our time management skills, and sharing our days allowed us to connect with one another.

Literacy

This week our literacy activity was focused on vowel blend and CVC words that ends with ‘an’ and all the kids were happy and engaged in the activity that we even did a bingo game using those words and all our kids were excited to find the words on their own all were happy to say bingo first as well as read the words. It was a fun and engaging session.

Math

For the math session we did skipping numbers by 2 and what comes before and after for the second group, we did the skipping by 2 by putting numbers on the musical dots and the fun that the kids had while counting the numbers and jumping was really amazing to see, even for those that were doing numbers that comes before and after they were having fun as well as were focused on their task and did a really nice job and had fun as we always do while learning.

Journal

This session was the most calm session of the day, because they were all focused doing what they have seen throughout the day as well as what has been going through their minds, almost all of the did the solar system and some did a car, robot and so on and they were relaxing hearing their journal music while sketching what they have in their creative and imaginative mind.

Football

This weeks football was like a real football match for the m since they have been practicing for the match on March 26, and the way that they pass the ball to each other and running with the ball like a professional football player what was more important was them having fun while playing and they had the most amazing football practice day.

Science

For our science activity we did the solar systems using different color playdough and we gave them the playdough, and we were amazed by how they have mixed the play doughs to bring out the color of each planets which we have learned the past weeks and the outcomes were really amazing and they had a really engaging science activity.

Art

This week for our art session what we did was paint our clay works that we have been doing for the exhibition and, the results are just amazing by how they get focused and how they work as a team to mix colors and bring colors that they feel like their work should be, we were all amazed by the outcome of their clay works. You will also be amazed when you come and see it tomorrow.

-  Every Wednesday is our library day, so we will be sending a book that your child picked from our library, which will be returned after a week on library day.
