Our Two weeks Blog in Infant and Toddlers

Dear Parents,

We had an amazing two weeks in our infant and toddles class! Here are the different activities we did.

  Our Large group

Our large group was amazing and lovely. We started our large group by singing the Hello song then we  talk about vegetables using different flashcards, the kids loved after that we take attendance then  sang two more songs by their choice, then we read a book " Brown Brown Bear what do you see" .

This week for small group

Cooperative Game

We played a game called fishing out game outside the classroom. We placed various blocks and toy animals in a water-filled container using kitchen utensils like forks. The kids used anything they could find to pick up the blocks or animals and put them in an empty basket. It was not just fun; it also helped the kids develop their gross motor skills, fine motor skills, teamwork, and more.

Gymnastics:

In our gymnastics session, we worked on making our bodies more flexible. We practiced doing splits and other exercises to stretch our muscles. The children took turns doing these activities, which helped them become more flexible and improve their big movements. It was great to see all the children enjoying themselves and taking part in the session.

Clay:

During our clay activities, the children were excited to make their own cars. Each child had the opportunity to create their own car out of clay. It was wonderful to see how enthusiastic they were about making their own unique cars.

Making a Bracelet

We had a fun day making bracelets using pipe cleaners and macaroni. The kids showed excellent teamwork and helped each other out. We had lots of discussions about how to make the bracelets and who they were making them for. It was a great opportunity for the kids to work together and express their creativity.

Library

During our library time, we selected a variety of books and displayed them in front of the kids. We read different stories to them, such as "You Are a Big Sister" and "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" Afterwards, the kids had the chance to pick a book to read on their own. They also got to choose their favorite books to take home with them. It was a great opportunity for them to explore different stories and develop their love for reading.

Math

In our math class, we continued our counting activities using a paper with dots. We placed dots on the paper with different numbers, and the kids counted them out by placing a pompom on each dot. They really enjoyed this activity! Not only were they practicing counting, but they also identified the colors of the dots and counted together with their friends. It was a fun and interactive way for them to learn and play together.

Science

During this week's science session, we continued our exploration of gardening. Last time, we experimented with mixing soil and water. This time, we took the next step by selecting a spot to plant our seeds. The children had the opportunity to dig and plant the seeds themselves.

Our gardening activities have been ongoing, allowing the children to learn about the process of growing plants and nurturing them from seeds to maturity.
