This Weeks Fun In Kindergarten!!

Hello dear parents;

Family day is around the corner, our kids have been busy preparing their clay exhibition for the family day as well as practicing really hard for their football match that they have on March 26 with ICS school.

We are happy to announce that family day is just around the corner and hope we will be seeing all our family on this special day.

Large group

For our large group session, we started by singing the good morning song. And through our large group we have been discussing when family day and football match day will be and have started putting a tally by counting down how many days we are left with. Participating in the circle time Calendar activity helped us increase our time management skills, and sharing our days allowed us to connect with one another.

Math

This week our math session was all about Time but this time we made it more fun and exciting for them by making it a game, the game was a roll and draw the time your dice lands on and we were really happy to see the kids were able to tell time with a little bit of adult support. While the other group did what comes next and all of them were happy to play what comes after. And they enjoyed their activities,

-      “This is such an amazing game I can't wait to play it.” Yazeed

-      “Wow, my dice went to 5:15.” Haon

Science

This week our science session was the project that continued from last  week, the kids can’t still get over the idea of solar system and are excited every day about it so they started painting the solar system turn by turn and made the orbit and the outcome was just perfect they waited for their turn patiently to paint, also did some color mixing to bring out the color we want. Overall, it was a session full of excitement as well as learning.

Art

For our art session we have finished 2 canvas and started our 3rd canvas which is to do what we have learned on our math session throughout this half semester and we were amazed by how the kids remember what we learned at the beginning of the year and recalled to do it on their canvas, when they see the white canvas they all said we want the background to be light blue to have so much color in it so this week we painted the background light blue and they had fun and of course were also mixing the color, they mixed blue and white to get light blue.

-      “No white, let's make blue” Kevin

-      “I can also do the subtraction, yes?” Yazeed

-      “I love numbers” Abigail

-      “I want to do the numbers with flowers” Ruut

Football

Wow this week's football was really the most amazing from all the football practices that we had for the past weeks all the kids were determined and focused on their match and were having a deep team talk, in which they didn’t even want their teachers to listen to the conversation and of course both teams scored and the match ended Red team 2 and Blue team 2.

-      “No go, we talk.” Kevin

-      “Come Eero let’s hug all together” Ruut

-       “Wow, I scored both goals!” Andre

-      “Yes , let's go blue team!”  Haon

-      “Everybody out” Ruut
