Wonderful week in our Early Preschool & Preschool

We had a nice week filled with lots of fun and knowledge in our early preschool and preschool. We hope yours was nice as well!!

Large Group:

our large group this week had lots of engaging activities. First, we sang our Good morning song and different songs and then we went back to our message board, where we took attendance, Days of the week ,We also talked about the weather finally we read a book called "How much do you love me?" We asked them how much they love their families and their friends; we had a lot of fun.

Small Group:

Cooperative Game

In our game, we balanced a ball on a piece of paper and tried to put it in a basket. The kids loved it! They were super careful to not let the ball fall off. We had a blast playing together!

Math

In our math session, we created a shape hopscotch game. We cut out various shapes like rectangles, triangles, squares, circles, and hexagons and placed them on the mat. Then, the children searched for the shapes they picked and hopped on them. They had a lot of fun with this activity!

Clay

This week, the kids completed their school and playground project that we've been working on for the past two weeks. They were thrilled with the outcome and truly enjoyed the work they put into it.

Library

We had a great time in our library session. We read a book called " Play time" and the students were listening attentively to the story. The story was about the various games that the character likes to play. We also asked our students what games they like. Finally, they chose books to take home.

Science

In our science session, we discussed magnets and metals. We then introduced various items that magnets can hold, such as magnetic musical instrument blocks. We also provided them with a new magnetic wand and bingo chips set, demonstrating how to use them. The children thoroughly enjoyed the activity, eagerly taking turns trying to connect the magnetic items. It was a fun and engaging session for everyone involved.

Art

This week in our art session we continued the canvas we started two weeks ago. We did the remaining parts from last week and we are gaining a lot of knowledge. We have a few steps left to complete our first canvas.

Literacy

In our literacy session we did zoo phonics. First, we discussed their names, sounds and actions, then students chose to trace the letters with pom poms. We had a good time.
