Large Group

Our large group time was wonderful. We began by greeting one another, and many of our students are now responding with “good morning” when they are greeted. This is a big improvement and shows their growing confidence during circle time

Afterwards we took attendance. Most of our children attended this week, so it gives us opportunity to practice and learn about our routine as a group. We also read a story book related with sharing titled “Little Lion Share” they really enjoyed the book.

Small Group

Monday -Gymnastics

Our class showed huge development in their gross motor skills and confidence in gymnastics session. They did an amazing job and very active and excited through the session.

We continued practice on the balance beam, which helps the children develop their balance, coordination, body control and concentration. We also add some challenges by placing hula hoops in the chair to step through.

This encourages our class to think about their movement, improve their coordination and build strength of their leg.

Tuesday- Literacy

Our literacy session focused on developing our fine motor skills which is very important at this age. We started by demonstrating how to hold clothes pin. Each child was given more than six clothes pins to explore and practice with.

Our class tries their best to open and clip the clothes pin onto the laminated paper. They were excited to challenge themselves and asked for more laminated paper so they could continue the activity. This activity helped strengthen their hand and finger muscles, hand-eye coordination, concentration, and independence, while also preparing them for future writing and self-help skills.

Wednesday -Music

Our music and movement session was full of fun and excitement. Our children chose stand-up songs, so we all stood together and danced to the music. They listened carefully, followed the actions, and especially enjoyed “Walking in the Jungle.”

Work Times

Tuesday- Art

During Art, the students explored scribbling on paper and did a wonderful job.

They enjoyed moving their crayons freely across the paper while exploring different marks and lines.

During the activity, the students noticed a bird outside and became very excited. They paused to observe it and showed curiosity about what it was doing, which made the art session even more engaging.

This activity supported their fine motor skills, hand control, creativity, and confidence in expressing themselves through art.
