Early Pre- School
Dear parents,
It was another Great week. The children are having a great time while they try to develop their social interactions with one another. They start to be familiar with their friends and teachers. We have started to see little groups among the early preschoolers.
Large Group
This week we start our large group by reading books. This week’s favorite book was “Cookie’s week”. We enjoyed reading together. One of our favorite things to do in large group time is singing a morning song. All the kids are excited to choose a pattern for a morning and song with their friends. This week we introduced a message board and most of our messages have been about our daily routine and the current weather.
Small group
This week for our exploration, we had Literacy, Math, Light-box, science and library. We worked on exploring with different materials in each exploration areas.
Work time
Kids enjoyed going to the different work time centers. It is a great time for them to socialize and make new friends. The centers we had for this week were Art studio, magnets and puzzles, cars and trucks, community, and blocks. These centers have huge chance of becoming new centres project based on the kids’ interest. Also this week we have started our special schedules. So on Monday we went to art for work time and on Wednesday we went to Music and movement.

Reminder
On Monday please make sure your child wears old clothes and shoes for art. It could get messy.
Please don’t forger to return their library folders on Thursday.
School will be Closed on 1st September for Eid Al Adeha celebration.
