Preschool Class
Dear parents,
Spring break is starting on the 19th. We hope you will have a wonderful brake. We can't wait to hear all about the break when the children came back after a week.
About this week
This week have been all about our body parts . For the past week, we discussed about our body parts. We read books related to body parts , sing songs in our large group time and make an individual art work about our different body parts in our art class. For the next couple of weeks we will investigate more about our body parts, what they do and what happens if we don't take care of our body parts.
Our other focus for this week was shapes! This weeks we talked about squares and triangles. After talking about these two shapes we went around the school to look for materials that are shaped like squares and triangles. we were so excited to see how the windows and cubbies were shaped like squares and our snack boxes were shaped like triangle. The preschoolers are very interested in different shapes so we will be talking and exploring with different shapes every week.
For music class we tried to challenge ourselves with new games that are played by rules. we called it 'games with rules'. It is a bit challenging for our class to play these game but we had fun playing, running around and showing support for each other. This week game with rule was 'Musical Chair', we are going to do more games with rules for the next couple of weeks!

Wednesday-Journals (Sharing stories)
Thursday- Science( Body parts)
Friday- Library.
Reminders,
As you may have noticed the weather here fluctuates a lot during the day between hot and cold, we ask that you send your child with layers that they can take off and put on accordingly!
Thursday is our Art day, please make sure child wear their ‘Art clothes’ because we use paints and our activities might get messy.
Friday is our Library day!! Don’t forget to send library folders so your child can choose a new book.
