Our Wonderful First Week in Pre-K!

Dear Parents,

What a wonderful first week of school we had in our Pre-K class! We are so happy to welcome our students to Pre-K. We had so much fun getting to know each other and settling into our new classroom.

Our first week was all about getting to know one another, learning our daily routines, creating classroom rules together, and introducing the children to our daily schedule. We also took a tour around the school compound, explored the new toys and different areas, and visited each learning center to see what we have and learn how to use and play in each area. This week was a wonderful opportunity to help our students become familiar with how our classroom and school function.

Throughout the week, we enjoyed many fun and engaging activities. We had our library session, which is part of our daily routine, where the children had the opportunity to read books individually and in groups. We also read George’s First Day of School, which the children really enjoyed.

We played Letter Bingo in a fun and interactive way, giving the children a chance to recognize and learn more about different letters. We also had a Shape Hunt! We hid different shapes around the classroom, and the children had so much fun searching for and finding them. We enjoyed music time, learned new songs, and spent time coloring and expressing our creativity.

Overall, it was a wonderful start to the school year! We are so proud of how well our students have settled in, and we can’t wait for the weeks ahead, filled with more fun, exploration, and play-based learning in our Pre-K classroom.

Reminder

Every Tuesday is our library day, so we will be sending a book that your child picked from our library, which will be returned after a week on library day.

Every Friday is our art day so please send your child with art-appropriate clothing.
