Blog For Early Pre School And Pre School

Greeting parents,

Today is the last day of the term. We hope you enjoyed our precious blogs and pictures that we share as we put lot of details in each and every one to inform you of all our weekly activities. We hope you will have a wonderful holiday filled with good memories and joy.

What happened in this week?

Cooperative game: - we were all busy working on our fine and gross motor skills activities like the previous two weeks. Throwing, catching, and kicking balls are good for our muscle development, hand-eye coordination, and fitness. So, our game was throwing and catching ball.

We were playing the game in pair by throwing to one another, moving forward as they do so to catch the ball successfully. That was a bit tricky to catch the ball we miss lots of balls it goes the other way round. We also missed some balls that come towards us overall we enjoyed and like game.

Literacy: we keep exploring the zoo phonics. This week we were hunting for letters in the sand area and inside rice on the clear box.

We learn and identify letters that we find and share the letters to our friends by telling the letter sound and the action that the letters make. That helps us to learn much from one another.

Science: this week our class continues the types of transportations, and we were working and learning about construction vehicles. Our little engineers were busy exploring and curious to know the different cars that we use in construction sites. We were having such an interesting conversations, here is some of the interesting statements…

“Can we use this car to bring us to school?"

"I have seen this car on my way home I think."

"Are all these cars are all the same!?"

Math: measuring up! Giving children the chance to play with measurement helps them learn how to compare objects and use words such as 'tall' and 'short'.

Based on this we let our kids to spy for objects inside our class to compare the height of the objects. We were so amazed to see our kids coming up with lots of different objects that they got in the classroom.

They got woods, build short and tall blocks, even they were comparing toys with themselves, and they compare themselves with their teachers. We learn comparing in such playful way. And this activity leads us to have more exciting way of measuring activities for the next class.

Art: we incorporate our art class with our science exploration, we choose one of the Construction car “Dump Truck”. We cut different shapes by using scissors that helps us to develop our fine motor skills.

The shapes were circle for the wheels, squares for the car body. After that we start to decor and stick the shapes all toge

ther to have the form of the dump truck. We have seen it work when we stick altogether. That was such amazing!
