Dear parents,
As the academic year comes to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of you. We couldn’t have done any of this without you?
Large Group
Our recent large group sessions have been nothing short of amazing! We started the day with a cheerful "Good Morning" song that got everyone energized and ready to learn. After singing, we took attendance and made sure everyone was present and ready to participate.
We then moved on to story time, where we read some engaging books together. The children enjoyed listening and discussing the stories. In addition, we had a lively discussion about the weather—talking about whether it was sunny, rainy, cloudy, or windy.
We also explored different colors, identifying and naming them through interactive activities and visuals. It was a fun and educational time where everyone got involved and shared their thoughts!
Pajama Day
Pajama Day was a fun and cozy experience where everyone came dressed in his or her favorite pajamas, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere. We took joyful group pictures to capture the special moments, and during our large group time, we enjoyed reading a bedtime story together, which encouraged listening and imagination. We also sang songs related to nighttime and sleep, adding a musical and engaging touch to the day. It was a memorable event that promoted comfort, creativity, and a strong sense of togetherness among the children.
Art
In our art session, the children had an exciting and hands-on experience creating textured artwork using glue and sand. They started by applying glue onto paper in different patterns and shapes, and then carefully sprinkled sand over the glue to bring their designs to life. This activity kept everyone engaged and encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, and sensory exploration. The children were fascinated by the transformation of their work and took pride in their unique, sandy creations.
Professions Day
Professions Day was an amazing and inspiring event where most of the children came dressed in a variety of professional outfits, representing different careers such as doctors, teachers, chefs, police officers, and more. It was a joyful and engaging experience that sparked curiosity and imagination, as the children proudly shared whom they were dressed as and discussed with teachers. The day encouraged self-expression, built confidence, and gave the children a fun opportunity to explore future aspirations in a playful and meaningful way.
Gymnastics
Our gymnastics session was full of energy and excitement as the children practiced rolling on mattresses! They enjoyed exploring different ways to move their bodies, building coordination, balance, and strength in a fun and safe environment. The soft mattresses made it easy for them to try forward rolls and other simple movements with confidence. It was a joyful and active time that helped develop their gross motor skills while keeping everyone engaged and smiling.
Literacy
In our literacy activity, the children practiced putting macaroni onto pipe cleaners, which was a fun and engaging way to support their fine motor skill development. As they carefully threaded each piece of macaroni, they improved their hand-eye coordination, concentration, and finger strength. This simple yet effective activity also encouraged patience and focus, making it a valuable part of their early learning experience.
