Dear Parents,
What a wonderful way to end the year! Our Spirit Week was a great success, filled with fun, laughter, and excitement. The students truly enjoyed each themed day and participated with so much energy and joy.
As we share this final blog post of the year, we want to take a moment to reflect on the journey we’ve had together. It has been an absolute pleasure to teach your children and to witness their incredible growth throughout the year. From their first steps into the classroom to the confident, capable learners they are today, each moment has been a joy to be part of.
This is a proud moment—not just for us as teachers, but for the students as well. They have accomplished so much, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how far they’ve come. Thank you for your continuous support and for trusting us with your children’s early learning journey.
Happy Birthday Samuel And Ismael
Color Day
During Spirit Week's Color Day, the Pre-K class was thrilled about the colors. In the morning, we talked about all the colors and the themes they wore. Then, the class went outside to play a color sorting game. The colors we chose were red, yellow, blue, and green. After that, we mixed two boxes of different colored items. The students formed two lines, and when the game started, they picked one color and put it into the color.
In the afternoon, we also had so much fun with the color collage activity. First, we provided them with different colored items. They cut them to their desired sizes and then stuck them onto paper.
Pajama Day
During Spirit Week's Pajama Day, all the children came to school in their pajamas, bringing some toys, which created an exciting moment for them. In the first session, the class discussed what they do before going to sleep and everything about their nighttime routines. Then, we had our library session in a cozy and comfortable way, wearing pajamas. We read them the book "Llama Llama Red Pajama," which was very interesting. In the second session, we provided them with a "Me in My Pajama" printable, and the children drew themselves in their pajamas, coloring them with the colors they wore that day. These moments brought them so much excitement.
Professional/Character Day
Profession/Character Day was part of Spirit Week, and it was such an exciting moment for all the children. All the students wore outfits based on jobs they are interested in and came to school. In the first session, the class participated in a show-and-tell with their professional outfits. Everyone came to the front to explain what they were wearing and what they want to be when they grow up. At this point, everyone was super excited to talk about their outfits. In the second session, we provided them with a printed-out paper that said, 'When I grow up, I want to be...' Then everyone drew their dreams. This was a beautiful moment for our children and for us, as we discussed and envisioned their future jobs, encouraging them to work towards their dreams.
Movie
In the movie, the class discussed the films they had watched before, whether they had been to the cinema, and what they needed to do to go. Then, the Pre-K class created their own cinema tickets, decorated them, and received stamps from the teachers. After that, we took them into the cinema room that we had prepared. As they entered, they lined up to show and give their movie tickets. We then showed them the room and the projector, and they sat on the mats. After ensuring everyone was seated safely and comfortably, we turned off the lights and started the movie "Ratatouille." They had been excited all week knowing they would watch the film, and when the movie started, they were super excited. Even after it finished, they were still thrilled about the experience.
