Dear Parent

Hope you all had a fun week as we did. The children started learning about zoo phonics during large group while we are doing our board message. They all are catching up quickly. We still continue to give them stickers as a positive encouragement, and they are working so hard to get it!

We started a new project called 'Ocean and beach center' its a work in progress. the children have a long list of plans for the center and it still keeps coming. On this note we kindly ask you to lend or donate some Swimming suits, Goggles, Sun Glasses, Sandals, and sunscreen that you run out of or not in use anymore we would love to have it to set up the center.

We are proud to announce that next Friday (Dec7) will be the grand opening of our bookstore! You are all invited to come and celebrate the success of our Authors!

What we have covered during small group

Sharing Monday: we observed that there was a bit miscommunication about sharing bikes or other playing materials that they bring from home. So we come up with a cooperative game about “sharing”. We made a cone with a paper and pass the ball to our friends in the circle. The game was about how nice it is to share the school playing materials and also toys they bring from home, and they all strongly agreed that we do not share our snack!!

Number chart for Math; In our math class, we focused on number identification, color sorting (for preschoolers) and counting. We used laminated papers with numbers on it (1-10); colored farm and water animals and a paper plate with a number written on it.

Science Wednesday; we had our last color mixing class. It was messy, fun and very productive day. We used shaving cream to see the color change more effectively. It was clear for them to see the change and made a good prediction.

Hunting Thursday; we went out for hunting for zoo phonics during literacy. We divided into 3 groups and hunt zoo phonics outside. After we collect out hunts, we sat down and explored with the letters and their sounds.
