Dear Parents,

We had two wonderful weeks in our Infant and Toddler class! The children were happy, excited, and actively engaged in our activities and projects. We are happy to share their special moments and learning experiences with you.

Large Group

During our large group, we sang the “Good Morning” song, followed by “Finger Family” and “Baby Shark.” We then practiced family sign languages, reviewing the signs we learned last time, such as mommy, daddy, brother, sister, grandma, and grandpa. Finally, we read the book Why I Love My Mommy, which helped the children explore and talk about family and love.

Gymnastic

During gymnastics class, we explored a fun ball-passing activity using hula hoops. First, we placed the hula hoops on the ground and showed the children how to pick the balls and place them into the hula hoop. After explaining and showing the activity, the children took turns trying it one at a time. At the end, they enjoyed participating in the activity together, practicing their coordination, balance, and teamwork.

Literacy and Language

During our language and literacy activity, the children explored colorful pipe cleaners and macaroni. They carefully threaded the macaroni, chose their favorite colors, and counted the pieces. They were very focused and enjoyed exploring the materials while developing their fine motor skills, color recognition, and counting skills.

 Science

During our science class, we explored different textures using our hands. The children touched and felt the materials, discovering how each one felt. We introduced words such as soft, rough, smooth, and fluffy as they explored and shared their sensory experiences.

 Art

During our art session, the children explored scribbling with markers. First, we invited them to choose their favorite colors, papers and markers. Then, we attached the papers to the wall and encouraged them to start drawing and scribbling freely. The children enjoyed making different lines and marks using their chosen colors. This activity encouraged their creativity, color exploration, and fine motor development.
